When Does the Tax Preparer Receive Their Prep Fees?

When can I expect to receive my tax preparation fees?

Tax preparers at Taxx Savage will receive their fees one week after the Prep fees are deposited into our account. However

Here's how the payment timeline works:

1. Prep Fees Deposit: The bank deposits the prep fees  into our account.
2. Processing Time: We begin processing those bank report sheets (prep fees) on Monday for the prior week's deposits. 
3. Payroll Cut-Off: Our payroll is processed weekly on Wednesday.
4. Payment Disbursement: If your fees are received Monday-Friday of the prior week, you'll be paid your prep fees the following Friday.  If received after that Friday cut off date, you'll be paid in the following week's payroll.

Example:

• Refund deposited by Tuesday: You'll be paid that week's payroll on the following friday.
• Refund deposited on Thursday: You'll be paid next week's payroll cycle.

• Facts: We strive to not miss a prep fee. If we do, you notify us and we will research and correct the situation.
