Important Notice

All refund checks are printed and mailed directly to the taxpayer by the bank.

Handling Checks & Incorrect Banking Information

• If the direct deposit information provided was incorrect, the bank will automatically issue a paper check to the taxpayer.
• If the taxpayer’s address is incorrect on the return, updates must be handled directly with the bank.
• For any issues related to refund payments, the bank is the only party able to assist and resolve the matter.

What To Do If There Is an Issue with a Refund Check

To ensure the fastest resolution, the taxpayer and the preparer must contact the bank together.

Follow These Steps:

1. Dial 888-782-0850
2. Press 1 when prompted
3. Enter the taxpayer’s full Social Security Number
4. Press 0 to be connected to a live agent
5. Once connected, ask the agent to:
   • Check the “Alerts” section in their system
   • Confirm the Taxx Savage check printing and mailing arrangement
