How Can I Access State and Irs Acknowledgements and Client Status on Proweb?
Acknowledgements in ProWeb
On the Taxx Savage ProWeb, acknowledgements are instantaneously received. To access these acknowledgments:
To check the acknowledgements from the Office Client List:
- On the Welcome Page, go to Client Search
- Proceed to the Office Client List from where you will look for the client whose acknowledgement you want to check
- On the Status column, you will be able to see whether the return is Complete, In Progress, Transmitted, Deactivated, Accepted or Rejected.
To check the acknowledgements from the Acknowledgement Report:
- On the Welcome Page of your Office, select Reports
- Choose either State or IRS Acknowledgements
- The reports can be printed or saved to CSV, PDF or Excel
Client Status in ProWeb
To check the Client Status, you can either go to Client Search or the side Navigation Bar.
To check Client Status through Client Search:
- Go to the Client Search
- Look for the Taxpayer whose status you need to check
- Click on the Tools dropdown menu that is next to the taxpayer’s name
- Then select Client Status
To check Client Status through the Navigation Bar:
- From the Navigation Bar, select Client Status
- Look for the taxpayer whose status you need to check
- You can then click on the icon for viewing the taxpayer’s status
There is a blue rectangular button on the Welcome Page that is labeled Rejected Client that shows the number of rejected returns or those that have a validation error. To view the reason or open a return for editing, click on the button.
