Why is a Return Locked due to Pre-Ack? 

EROs authorised to offer Pre-Ack Loans via their bank may do so during Pre-Ack season through the Taxx Savage Pro. A return sent with a Pre-Ack Loan is locked until such time that it is sent to and acknowledged by the IRS. Locking the return is necessary as it prevents the modification of the return after the Pre-Ack application is sent to the bank.
