When you prepare your return in the Taxx Savage ProWeb, fees in the Fee Schedule are automatically pulled and calculated on the return that you're preparing.
The fees are displayed on the E-File page of the return. To get to the E-File page:
- Go to the Welcome Page of your ProWeb Office
- Locate then open the return whose fees you would like to modify
- You will be led to the return's Calculation Summary Page. Once here, click on the E-File option.
- The process has to be free of any validation errors for you to gain access to the E-File Menu. In case there are any Validation Errors, you will have to correct them.
- Select the Tax Preparation and E-File Information section from the E-File page.
Modifying Fees on the E-File Menu.
Fees pulled from the fee schedule can be manually modified by entering the new fee in the field under the title Preparer Fee. To save the modification, click outside the field. Once that is done, even the total gets updated.
The modified fee must be an amount between the Minimum Preparer Fee and the Maximum Preparer Fee that you set for your office. It should not be above the Maximum Preparer Fee nor should it be below the Minimum Preparer Fee.
Note: You may be unable to make modifications to the fees since you lack the authority to modify fees in the E-File page. If this is the case, contact your ERO for help.
