How Can I Choose the Reports to Display in the Reports Menu and Who Can Access Report Customization?

With Taxx Savage ProWeb you are able to pick which reports to display in the Reports Menu. This enables you to avoid the unnecessary reports and makes it easy to access the reports you are concerned with. Access to this tool is regulated by the Office Admins. 


To customize your reports, you must be logged into your ProWeb account. 


Note: In Multi-Office businesses, the login should be done at the Office Level and not the Company Level. 

To choose which Reports to display in the Reports Section:   

  • Select Configuration from the Welcome page 
  • Go to Report Customization 
  • Proceed to the Report Type section then locate the reports you want to customize. You can either scroll through the list of reports or simply type the report name to search it. 
  • Selected reports will be displayed in the Selected Report Type(s)
  • You can change the arrangement of the reports by dragging them up or down the list. 
  • Once you are done, click SAVE. 

You will now only be able to see the Reports you chose in the Reports section of the Welcome page. 

Adjusting Security Templates for your Preparers

You have the ability to choose who can access the Report Customization. This is done by tweaking the Security Templates’ settings. If you want to limit a user: 

  • On the Welcome Page of your ProWeb, select Configuration 
  • Go to Security Templates 
  • Locate the template you need then click the Edit option next to it
  • You can then proceed to choose who to grant access by checking the boxes next to them.
