Yes. We have a unique feature that is capable of converting the data you had in another software for our ProWeb.
Should you be new to our software and have data in another software that you like to pull into the present year returns, we have you covered. You can simply convert that data from the other software into our ProWeb software.

Instructions for Data Conversion for ProWeb
The taxpayer’s, their spouses’ and dependents’ basic biographical information as well as the W-2 information are all converted by the ProWeb data conversion feature.
The software packages that can be converted are mentioned below. Only data completed in the desktop version can be converted and not those completed in the cloud-base.
Step 1: The returns needing conversion should be in a version compatible with the software on the computer you will use as the file server by Taxx Savage. Ensure that this is the case.
Step 2: To download the conversion utility, log in to your Account Hub.
Step 3: From your Account Hub menu, select Software Conversion.
Step 4: On the screen will be a set of documentation. At the bottom of the screen is a line with the words Click to Download the Conversion. From this line, click on Conversion.
Step 5: Download then install the conversion utility
Step 6: You can run the conversion utility on the desktop by clicking the shortcut similar to the one in the picture below.
Step 7: Click on New Conversion
Step 8: Select ProWeb then click Submit
Step 9: You will then provide the username and password for the Office that will use the converted data. To complete the login, you will have to use the Multi-Factor Authentication(MFA).
Step 10: Pick the Program to convert. Next to Path to Program Data, there will be the Standard data path. If need be, you can select another folder for the program.
To begin the conversion, click Start.
The returns will start being processed by the conversion utility
Green box - Has the word Done that shows that your conversion is done and that your data can now be pulled forward.
You will be questioned on whether to start a return using the previous year data when you enter EIN or SSN for returns that have been converted. To this question, Select Yes.
Click on X at the top right to shut down the program once the data conversion has been completed.
Note:
- Those returns with either passwords or security restrictions will not be converted let alone be read. Before putting up returns for conversion, you should remove all the security restrictions including passwords. You can later on restore the security restrictions after the conversion has been completed.
- There are returns or part of some returns that cannot be converted. This will require you to manually re-enter data in the Taxx Savage Pro.
