How can I Set Up and Assign Return Tags to Returns? 

The Taxx Savage ProWeb has a feature that helps preparers manage clients using return tags. The return tags can be personalized to help track and organize returns in the office client list. The icon in the Office Client List illuminates when a return tag is assigned to a return, signifying that a return has been assigned a tag. 

Setting Up Return Tags 

In the Taxx Savage ProWeb, Return Tags can be used to track anything that needs tracking. To set up custom return tags: 

  • From the Office Configuration Menu simply select the Tags option. You will land on the page below: 

  • By selecting +Add Tag, you can add a new tag.  
  • An empty line will be exhibited in the Office Tag List. 
  • Name the tag 
  • Then select Save. 
  • To create more tags, repeat this process until satisfied. 

To assign a tag to a return, you can either go through the tax return’s submission page or the Office Client List. 

  1. From the Office Client List 

Look for the taxpayer whose return you would want to assign a tag then click on the tag icon. From the options available, select the tag(s) you would like to assign to the return. 

After selecting the tags as desired, click Save. 

  • From a Return’s Submission Page 

Select return tag(s) option. This option is at the bottom of the return’s Submission Page.
