How Can I Enter Firm and ERO Setup in the Configuration of ProWeb? 

Before you Set Up Configuration in Taxx Savage ProWeb

In your Account Hub, create the ProWeb account for your Office. The Office Setup and ERO/Preparer Setup in Configuration stores the information entered while creating a ProWeb account. In case you encounter any problem, contact either the customer support or your sales manager. 


Office Setup can be completed by: 

  • Going to Configuration on the Welcome Page of your ProWeb 
  • Proceed to Office Setup 
  • Select the dropdown menu then modify each field if the need arises. More information on the Configuration options is available here.
  • Go to the Selected Bank dropdown and select your bank. This is only if you offer bank products. The banks that appear in the menu are those that have approved you. 
  • Once you are done, click Continue. 

To Setup the ERO Information: 

  • Go to the Configuration Menu 
  • Next to the ERO Setup, click Select 
  • Click on +Add next to the Add ERO option 
  • Then write the ERO/Firm name 
  • Write the name of the office contact, that is the Office Identifier
  • If applicable, enter the EIN 
  • You will then be required to enter a valid EFIN 
  • To add the ERO Address and ERO Phones, click Add 
  • Once you are done, click Continue

You can select +Add next to Add ERO in order to set up another EFIN. To complete the setup, use the same steps as above. You cannot delete an ERO after adding it. Instead, you can only mark it inactive. 

Note: All supported years of Taxx Savage have the configurations applied to them. That is, the past four years plus the current year.
