Instead of completely deleting a tax return, the Taxx Savage ProWeb only allows you to deactivate them. If you would like to deactivate a tax return, follow the instructions below:
- From the Welcome menu of your Office, go to Client Search
- Look for the return you would like to deactivate
- Once you find it, click on the Tools dropdown menu
- Select Deactivate
- To confirm the deactivation, click Yes
It is only when a return is in the “In Progress” status that it can be deactivated. The Client List retains all the deactivated returns where their status is labeled as “Deactivated”.
Note: if you are a Pay-per-return user, the deactivated returns are included in the initially bought 15 returns. Before deactivating a return, ensure that you really are required to do so.
