Filing Status Fees

Filing status fees are voluntary add-on fees that can be setup to charge extra fees for the preparation of a tax return depending on filing status. 


To either add or remove filing status fees on the desktop: 

  • Go to the Main Menu of the program 
  • From the menu, select Configuration 
  • Proceed tio Fees/Billing Setup 
  • Then select Fee Setup Menu - Scroll down the list to the items on line 238-242. You can either add or remove the fees by selecting the line items. 

To either add or remove filing status fees on the Proweb: 

  • Go to the welcome page and select Configuration 
  • Proceed to Fees Setup 
  • Then Federal Forms - Scroll down the list to the items on line 238-242. You can either add or remove the fees by selecting the line items.
