Desktop: How to Set Up the Topaz Signature Pad

How Can I Set Up the Topaz Signature Pad on the Desktop? 



In case you are a Taxx Savage user, your instructions are here. 

You must download and install Topaz's Sigplus software in order for you to use the Topaz Signature pad to use in the Taxx Savage Pro. To do this, follow the instructions below: 


Note: installation must be completed before you connect the signature pad. 


  1. Download the Sigplus software from the Topaz SigPlusPro website:

  1. Click on the “Download SigPlus” icon: 

  1. Open the downloaded file. In the Chrome browser, it will appear at the bottom of the browser window. In Microsoft Edge, you will have to click on the “Open file” option in the small download window. 

After completing the installation of the Sigplus, to use the Topaz signature pad, you will have to configure Taxx Savage Pro. to do this: 


  • Go to the Quick Menu of the Taxx Savage Pro 
  • From the menu, select Configuration 
  • Proceed to Configure Premium Options 
  • Then Allow Signature Pad Options - Change this to YES 

The signature pad can now be utilized in capturing the signature of the preparer in the Preparer Setup as well as that of the taxpayer in the Receipt Menu.
