Desktop: Deductions Menu - 2021 and forward

The deductions menu has the following items: 

  • Itemized Deductions (Schedule A)
  • Force Itemized Deductions or Dual-Status Return
    • Standard Deduction - Shows the computed Standard Deduction for this return. 
    • Standard or Itemized Deductions being carried to Form 1040 - This menu line indicates the amount flown to Line 12c of Form 1040 depending on the information in the return.
  • Charitable Contributions (if Standard Deduction Taken)
  • Qualified Business Income Deduction (8995)
